When choosing the colour of your new picture frame(s) or mount(s) take the following into consideration:
- The colour of your artwork/picture
- The colour of existing frames in the same room
- The colour of your wall
- The colour of other items or furniture and decor
Making the right choice
Depending on the purpose of your frame, where it will hang or stand and what you are framing selections may differ. Remember that your frame doesn't just serve as an aesthetic addition; they are present to protect your pictures too.
If you have an expensive picture or one which holds great sentimental value you will be pleased to know that our frames and mounts are museum standard. This ensures that our products will not transfer acids overtime, damaging the picture you have framed.
You should never use acid-based mat board, cardboard backing, plastic frames or any other material that may compromise the integrity of your artwork. We also offer barrier board to further shield your pictures from dust and damp.
